He Gives Grace and Glory

This is part of the 2014 31 day writing  challenge over at the Nesting Place. It’s my first year in joining along and I am praying I can keep up even though I am already behind!!

I love this Psalm. The picture it paints in my heart is one of beauty, grace and encouragement. It is my prayer. My hearts cry. Oh how I long for His dwelling places. To be in a place of His purposes. How I yearn to be in His presence.

How lovely are Your dwelling places, O LORD of hosts! My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD…For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.  O LORD of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Be encouraged dear one, no matter where you are today or what you are going through it is the Lord that gives us grace. He promises grace to those whose walk is upright.
