God is our healer, our Jehovah-rapha which means the one who is your healer. In the Hebrew the word we translate as rapha means “to mend, to cure.” It is translated “to heal, repair, repair thoroughly, make whole.”
It does not matter whether you come to God seeking spiritual, physical or emotional healing for in Christ we are made whole. We are healed.
Whatever hurt you may be facing today run to your Father in Heaven who promises to heal you. He will make you whole again.
The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the LORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them. Isaiah19:22;
"I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners” Isaiah 57:18;
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3;
Yes! His Word is the balm to my soul as are His arms wrapped around my heart.ReplyDelete
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." I am remembering all that God has given me and I want to lay all the fears, burdens, hurts, at the foot of the Cross.
Thank you for your words, Sharon.

This past year, I have been reminded more than ever what a great healer God is. I'm so thankful that I can give all my burdens to Him and he will gladly carry them time and time again. Visiting from #threewordwednesday!ReplyDelete
