On the Threshold of Hope is written by a Christian Biblical Counselor who has helped hundreds of women walk through Sexual Abuse. It is the best book I have read on the subject and was key to my own healing journey of abuse. If you have been abused this book can be read alone, but I would suggest reading it with someone willing to walk along the journey with you.

God Weeps: Why Our Suffering Matters to God was a difficult but excellent read. Difficult in that it gives answers to suffering that we may not like. It gives great insight into the sovereignty of God

A Love That Will Not Let Me Go - A Study of Hosea  (4 lessons)

He cried out to a nation caught up in harlotry, a nation which chose to abandon God and go after pagan idols. In Hosea you can learn how God deals with those who turn away from Him and about a love that will not let you go.
