For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil 1:6
God gave me hope when He ...
- took a little girl without any hope and gave her hope
- offered security to one who did not feel safe
- made a me clean, spotless, pure when I felt dirty and sinful
- took a girl who felt unloved and made her HIS BELOVED
- turned brokenness to healing
- died for my sins and offered me free grace
- revealed truth to me through His words
Jesus is working on YOUR behalf to see you through whatever it is that consumes you today.
It may not be the answer you are hoping for. Your circumstances may seem hopeless, but KNOW- be convinced - that in Christ there is HOPE for all things will work out for our good.
How do I know? Because God can not lie. He can not break a promise. If His word says it you can count on it.
...in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago, Titus 1:2
…so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. Hebrews 6:18
Both of these are talking about the hope we can have in the covenant (promise) God has made with His children. When God promises, or makes a covenant, with His people you can rest assured that it will be fulfilled.
I pray today that you will be confident in the knowledge that you are not alone and that you have Jesus working on your behalf to complete the work in you which was started long ago...
We really can be thankful regardless of our circumstances, when we understand that God is working it all out for our good. We just might not see it yet!
