Run to Me

I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God's great mystery. Colossians 2:2



My love where did you go today? Why must you hide? Do you not know that I long to be with you? I long to take you into my arms and hold you, but you pull away from me. Have you not learned by now how great my love is for you?

Dear one you can do nothing that will make me stop loving you. I want you to love me. But if you must go chase your dreams, and pursue what this world has to offer, if you must try to fill those empty place yourself then go. When you finally come to the end and realize you are alone and the darkness is still deep inside. I will still be here. I will not stop loving you.

But dear child why not just stop chasing the emptiness of your life with more emptiness and just come running back to me? Run to me child. My arms are open wide.

Can you not see just how much I love you, but you keep chasing that which can not be caught. Stop for just a moment and look to me. I am here waiting with my arms open ready to embrace you. Rest dear child, rest in me.
