I want to be Aware of you....

I heard this song this morning on the radio and knew immediately I was going to post it today. It just struck such a cord in my heart as I listened to the words. So often I go through my day and I'm not completely conscious of all that God does in my daily walk.

You see there is absolutely nothing I do in a single day that is good and right that is done without Jesus. He works every single day in my life. But honestly I don't always see it.

I know I miss so much each and every day, I don't always see Jesus in the day to day.I want to see Him in all I do. I want to see His touch in everything I do. I want to be aware of all that He is doing in my life everyday, even the little things.

It's easy to see Him in the big things, what I want to see Him in all things. Like me even being able to get out of bed, or want to serve, to love all these are because of Jesus working in me.

Oh how my heart longs to be aware of Jesus in every moment of my life....

  1. Sharon, thank you for sharing the song. I'd not heard it before. I need to be more aware of Jesus working in my life, in the contacts I have, the opportunities, etc. I leave for Haiti on a missions trip in less than 2 weeks. I pray that Jesus will be seen through me.

  2. Your words made me think of our Lord's words: "apart from me you can do nothing". We are nothing apart from Christ but in and through Him we are something because He is some one special. Praise the Lord.

Living aware of His presence...that's critical. Praise the Lord.

  4. A-men, I get so distracted and sometimes need God to make me aware. It's totally not all about me and I hate it when I act like it is!

    TFS.

  5. Praying that we'd be aware of His sovereignty even in the midst of hard things...not the outward circumstances, but the dark places of our hearts that we're afraid to look at in truth and bring to light. You are right, nothing, absolutely nothing good comes from us apart from our Goodness, Jesus. Praise Him that in the midst of all things, He is there.
