Thankful for Jesus

I am thankful today for Christ Jesus. When I am afraid I can run to Him! He holds me close to Him and comforts me through the Spirit! I am SO thankful for His great love for me!

"I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.” John 15:9

I am thankful that Jesus has set me free. I am alive and no longer dead in my sin.

Sin is no longer your master, for you are no longer subject to the law, which enslaves you to sin. Instead, you are free by God's grace. Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you have obeyed with all your heart the new teaching God has given you. Now you are free from sin, your old master, and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness. Romans 6:14, 17-18

I am thankful that because of Jesus I can boldly come to God. I am thankful that He gives me grace so that I will have help when I need it.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it. Heb 4:16

Dear Jesus I pray that you will go before me and prepare the way. Help me to be gracious to others as you are gracious to me. Help me be patient, kind, compassionate and understanding as I move into areas that are new. Help me to see things through your eyes, and to know that you have my good in mind. Help me to remember that in every circumstance you wish to grow me, teach me and draw me to toward you. I love you Jesus and desire to walk with you and be who you desire me to be.

  3. I worked through Week 2, Day 3 this morning and that passage from Romans 6:14, 17-18 you quote really pricked my heart. God is incredible and so is His Word. I thank God for YOU and the heart you have for Him and His Word!
