Thankful Thursday

Today Iris post a Thankful list about relationships and as I read her list I thought how I too am so thankful for many of my relationships. They are such a gift from God. So I am joining Iris today with a list that focuses on relationships. You can join her at Sting My Heart.

First a foremost I am thankful for the relationship God desires to have with me. He pursues me, convicts me, teaches me, disciplines me, loves me, grows me, talks with me and walks with me all because, above all else, He desires a relationship with me.

I am thankful for the Spirit of God who lives in me. It is because of the Spirit living in me and changing my heart that I desire an intimate relationship with God.

I am thankful for my perfect mate that God so wisely choose for me. I am thankful that I have the priviledge to serve him as he helpmeet.

I am thankful for two sons who have taught me so much about God and myself. I am thankful that I can have a close and open realationship with both of them.

I am thankful for a beautiful, loving, godly daughter in law.

I am thankful for some amazing relationship I have with sisters in Christ that God has given me to help in the journey.

I am thankful for those God places in my life to teach me, humble me and grow me.

Oh God I am thankful that I can talk with you and share my heart with you. I am thankful that you listen, and that you care about all the things that trouble my heart. I love you so.......
