I am so thankful that God has given me the absolute confidence to believe that He WILL accomplish/finish/complete His good work in me.
I am so persuaded of this because He
-took a little girl without any hope and gave her hope
-offered security to a little girl that did not feel safe
-made a me clean, spotless, pure when I felt dirty and like trash
-took a girl who felt unloved and made her HIS BELOVED
-called out my name when I didn't think anyone even knew my name
I don't know where you are today, what you might be going through, but this one thing I do know. I am convinced with all my being that Jesus is working on YOUR behalf to see you through whatever it is that consumes you today.
It may not be the answer you were hoping for. Your circumstances may seem hopeless, but KNOW- be convinced - that in Christ there is HOPE for all things work out for our good.
For this we can be thankful regardless of our circumstances. I pray today that you will be confident in the knowledge that you are not alone and that you have Jesus working on your behalf to complete the work in you which was started long ago...

Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeletethanks so much for the encouragement...need it more than you know. It's reassuring to know God is working things out for me no matter how they seem right now.

Thank you for the reminder... I was that little girl too. What joy I felt to have a new friend and defender in Jesus. Sometimes when the enemy attacks, I forget that all is new - the old is passed away. Thank you.
