I am Thankful today and everyday for....

My God
Even though I deserve nothing He has given me every blessing needed for life. He watches over me, keeps me safe and holds me. God continues to mold me, change me and renew me. I am so thankful that I don't have to worry about tomorrow, for My God knows that plans He has for me and they are good.

My husband
He is my best friend and I am so in love with him. He is head of our home and I gladly respect his leadership. Because he cherishes me I will admit he makes it easy. I love his strength of character, his tender heart, the way he is so patient with me. I am SO thankful that God has allowed me to be his help meet.

My children
Raising two boys is probably the hardest and yet most rewarding job I'll ever do. I am grateful that God entrusted me with these two lives. Yes there are times I wonder if I've done a poor job and probably should have been fired, but God's purposes far out weigh anything I might "mess up". I am thankful for my children because through them I have learned so much about God and myself.

My daughter-in-law
My precious DIL is one of the sweetest women I know. She is the daughter I hoped for and she brings such joy to my heart. Her heart is so tender and she has such faith in God. I love her and am so thankful for the beauty she adds to our family.

My Grandsons
What Nana wouldn't be thankful for grandchildren. They keep you young. they are such a joy and make me smile when ever they come running for a hug. They are so precious and the light of my day when I get to see them. I am so grateful they only live 20 minutes away!!

  14. Thank you for sharing your heart with us. You said, "Yes there are times I wonder if I've done a poor job and probably should have been fired, but God's purposes far out weigh anything I might "mess up".
Lord knows I have felt this way so many times especially as my oldest son entered his teen years and since. Even with the other three I worry (I know I am not supposed to) that I have messed up in the mistakes they have seen me make. But I like how you ended it. How could I mess up the plan, the purpose that God set for me and them/. He said He will complete the work He has started and I think I apply that to our raising our children in Him. After all, He gave (loaned) them to us. Entrusted them to us so I suppose He thought we would do alright;-) Have a blessed weekend in Christ Jesus and I hope the conference you are headed to is everything you need it to be.
