My father was born on April 19, 1937. He died in an automobile accident in 1967 when I was 5. This is in memory of him, becaue through his death and all life that happened afterward I realized that there was NEVER a time when GOD LET GO OF ME!
He did not let go even when I did.
He did not let go when I did not believe, or have and faith left.
He did not let go when I could not imagine trusting Him.
He never, no never let go of me.....
What a beautiful tribute to your Father. Even when we look away, God never lets go. What a wonderful song. God Bless, -Laurie
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you lost your earthly Daddy so young. But Amen, I'm glad your heavenly Father never let you go!

Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteNot sure I've visited you blog yet? Anyhow, so nice to meet you.
This is one of my favorite songs, and I'm so GRATEFUL He never does let go of us. What a HOPE we have in Jesus.
I've lost both of my parents and understand what it means to be an orphan. Even as an adult, it's hard.
I know your dad would be so proud of you now.
Blessings♥
Just read your April 15 post, wow...I needed that!
Sharon,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great song. I have heard it before.
How sad that at such a young age you would have to hurt so deeply. What a blessing that you are not bitter, but in the heartache experienced, could see God with you each step of the way.
Our God is so good, isn't He?!?
and he never will!
ReplyDeleteHugs girl....... He never lets go....... I am so thankful for that....... He never lets go
