TT-My Redeemer

I am so thankful for my REDEEMER Jesus Christ, He knows the depths of my (and your) pain. He calls to you to give Him all your pain and all of your hurts for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Jesus is My REDEEMER. He heals wounds, frees prisoners, forgives sin, and understands pain.

If you've been criticized, berated, verbally tormented, our REDEEMER knows the humiliation of that.

If you've been beaten, rejected, betrayed Jesus knows the sting of that.

How does Jesus know? Study His life and you will see that He walked through all of these and more.

Read Isaiah 53 where we are told in verse 3 "He was despised and forsaken of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and like one from who men hid their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him." Isaiah says that Jesus was , "smitten of God and afflicted; He was pierced, crushed, and oppressed."

Because our REDEEMER understands our suffering we have the freedom to run to Him when our pain and suffering seem to overwhelm us. He will have compassion and He will comfort us, for He understands. He understands ALL our suffering no matter how big or small.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 2 Cor 1:3-5

Thank Jesus for REDEEMING me!
