Your Love, the Cross and a prayer...

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great
you will never fully understand it.
Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power

Today I’ve been overwhelmed with your love God. The 'wind' blew in and filled me with a quiet filling of Your love. I’ve had the opportunity today to just pray and worship. As I have listened to you today I heard words of tenderness, love, mercy and grace.

I realized AGAIN that I am a great sinner and I suppose that as long as I live I will never understand the depths of Your love for me. There is nothing that is good in me apart from the work of Christ in my life. The work of the cross is so powerful in my life. How can I ever pay the debt I owe. It has changed me and humbled me forever.

As I look on the cross and what it cost you Jesus how can I do anything but fall down and worship. Your face bloodied and bruised, now beautiful. Your nail pierced hand that now heals my brokenness. Your arms stretched and hung, now draws me close. Your eyes, those beautiful eyes consume me with your love.

You are an awesome God! You are Holy! You are Good! You are my Jehovah(self-existing). You are my Jehovah-Shalom (peace), El Yeshuasi (my slavation)! You are my El Bethel (my sanctuary), El Chai (my living truth).

My heart is overwhelmed with your everlasting love. Thank you Jesus for the cross. Thank you for this reminder today that You love me! That you suffered for my sake. Thank you that You desire to draw me nearer to You! Oh Jesus it is my desire also. I want to be near you! Draw me even closer to You!
