My friend Heather past this meme on to me. Thought it might be interesting and fun. Plus I've been challenged this year to open up and allow others to know the real me. So maybe this is a start...cause I know you all have been wanting to know this stuff!

1)I once lived in a house that needed MAJOR remodeling. So my parents gutted it out entirely, and for months we lived without a kitchen or bathroom. In the basment there was a shower and my parents put a chamber pot down there. For a stove my mom used a camping stove. As a kid it was great. Now that I'm a mom...I'm not so sure it was great!
2)I have a bad habit of leaving the stove on after I'm done cooking. I wish I could blame it on old age...but I've done it for a long time!
3)I sleep hugging a pillow. My husband keeps telling me I should just hug him while falling asleep - but I tell him he's just not as soft as a pillow!
4)I have a quirky habit that drives my dh crazy. I always have to be doodling,or fiddling with something, shaking my foot or leg. It's really hard for me to just sit still.
5) I suppose along with that it's virtually impossible for me to talk without using my hands - and no I'm not Italian.
6) In the car while driving alone I turn my music up really loud then sing with it very loudly!

ReplyDeleteSharon I find it funny I do three of those things. I leave the stove or oven on. I hug my pillow to fall alseep and I am moving all the time like that too.

ReplyDeleteOh, by the way, tell dh that I sleep with a "hugging" pillow too. As a matter of fact my boys thought they would be funny and hide it one night and I MADE them go find it (can't go to sleep with out it...I even take it on vacations).

I've left the oven on for hours before noticing and I think I'm pretty lucky I haven't had any issues with fires because of my forgetfulness. Thanks for sharing Sharon!

I finally got around to doing the Meme and then did it again.. I needed to lighten up a bit today.. sometimes life gets us down and we just need to laugh.. I loved the 6 things you wrote especially the radio in the car........ DITTO !!! I do the same and I am 60 !! you never outgrow good music...
