In the morning when I rise,
In the morning when I rise give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus, give me Jesus.
You can have all this world, But give me Jesus.
And when I am alone,
Oh, and when I am alone,
And when I am alone give me Jesus.
And when I come to die,
Oh, and when I come to die,
And when I come to die,
give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
But give me Jesus.
I love that song too, and it is a great prayer.

ReplyDeleteLove that song too. I sang it at my grandmother's funeral.
ReplyDeleteFernando Ortega is one of our families favorite singers! When we camp in the summer our kids usually go to bed listening to him. When my husband and I come in to go to bed, most of the time we are going to sleep to this song! It holds such a special place in my heart! Thanks for posting it! Have you ever heard his CD "The shadow of your wings", it's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteKim I haven't heard Ortega's "The Shadow of your wings" I'm sure I would love it...I'll have to check into it!
