Thankful Thursday

I am alway thankful for a day that I can take time to sit and reflect over all that God has done over the past week. Yes, it's something I should do everyday, be still having a day where I purposefully sit and meditate on my thankfulness to God has been such a blessing.
I am thankful that we took the time out of our schedule's to go to my family reunion last week. It was wonderful being in a town that just feels like "home" to me. My family roots and spiritual roots both began there.

I am thankful for a heritage filled with a godly family who have been praying for me since I was young. I firmly believe that as a result of these faithful family memebers my heart was soft and pliable and ready to accept my savior when He called me.

I am thankful that God is working out all the details as we prepare for our up coming retreat in just 2 1/2 weeks. This will be His weekend and I can't wait to see what He has in store for us!

I am thankful that God is always in control of all the details of my life, even those times when I stupidly think I'm in control.

I am thankful for such a wonderful group of women in my Bible Study. They are so willing to be open and share...they are hungry for the Word of God.

I am thankful that God provides all our needs. He will work out the "all things" even in times when our pride and/or stubborness gets in the way.
