The music was enchanting. As I stood there listening to the music I closed my eyes and began to dance around. My whole body felt one with the beat of the music. Then I felt his presence. He came to me and held my hands for a dance. We danced for what seemed like hours. I felt like I was floating, my feet barely touching the ground. It was only then that I realized I was standing on his feet as we floated around.

It was a wonderfully magical moment.
I wanted it to last forever, there with him, dancing.
Dancing with my King...
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. Ps 57:7Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; Ps 98:4
Sharon where is that from. Is it a poem or part of a song. I know I heard the whole thing once before and loved it. Thanks for the reminder to Dance with our King
ReplyDeleteActually I just sat and wrote it. But I'm sure there are similiar thoughts that have been written...I can't be that orginal. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is very beautiful. I recently wrote a song using verses from Psalm 98 including the one you have used here. My intention for the melody and chords was for it to have sort of a Jewish music sound, like a Jewish dance.
