Thankful Thursday

I am so grateful today that tomorrow I get to go on vacation! It's been a cray summer and we haven't had a chance to "get away" together. So next week my husband and I are "outta here"! Nowhere exciting...just away!

I am thankful that one of the things we will be doing on vacation is traveling to Indiana for a family reunion. Some of these people I've never met and some I haven't seen in many, many years. It's my dad's side and he died over 40 years ago and then we moved away.

I am thankful that, after working most the summer, our son's house is 95% done! Three years ago he bought a house that was separated into two apartments. His tenant moved out in April and because of their growing family he decided to remodel the house back into one unit.

I am thankful that I have a husband that walks beside me through this journey of life. One who loves me, encourages me and helps me become the woman and wife God intends for me to be.

I am thankful that God watches over me. He tenderly guides me toward a deeper relationship with Him. He is the rock which I cling to. He loves me with an everlasting love...and redeeming love!

On this Thankful Thursday may we all worship our God who is worthy of our honor, glory and praise! Thank you God for all that you do in the lives of your children. For those things that are seen and unseen we give You praise! For both sorrow and joy we glorify Your Holy name! Thank you Spirit for filling us with Your presence!
